ALDIUM is a specialist insurance broker for the Care sector,
providing bespoke solutions for Care Home insurance, Domiciliary
Care insurance, Supported Living insurance and insurance for
Children’s Homes.
Established since 1997, we provide independent insurance advice
and solutions to the UK care market.
This expertise is obviously recognised by other insurance
brokers throughout the UK who regularly utilise our expertise to
place their own clients’ insurances through our facilities.

Our Markets
We choose from a panel of specialist Care insurers to establish
quality cover, terms and prices for each of our clients
individually.
One of these insurers allows us to set the terms, handle all the
paperwork and even deal with the claims on their behalf – we act
as a ‘virtual insurer’ where the client deals direct with the
decision makers.
We can also, where necessary, access schemes operated by other
underwriting agents to ensure we really are obtaining the best
terms for our clients from a wide range of offers and sources.
Risk Management
We can arrange effective risk management advice to assist you
with compliance with the law and regulations, involving issues
such as health and food safety, training (including first aid),
contingency planning and environmental management such as
asbestos surveys. Investment in this activity can often lead to
substantial savings on insurance premiums.
Our Prices
We handle the insurances of over 1,000 Care homes which is
indicative of the fact that we really do offer competitive
prices for our clients.
Our ‘virtual insurer’ facility gives us the authority to
discount prices ourselves, a facility which is available to very
few of our competitors.
