Complete Laundry Solutions From
Diversey.
Diversey offers an extensive portfolio of laundry products and
processes that combine exceptional performance, cost
effectiveness and safe operation while using fewer chemicals and
less energy. The company constantly innovates to deliver new
products formulated to meet the unique challenges faced by
customers in demanding sectors including healthcare, hotels,
catering and care homes.
The comprehensive Diversey portfolio includes products in the
CLAX and Horizon ranges for every stage of the laundry and
fabric care process. These are designed to deliver bright, clean
and fresh-smelling laundry that is stain-free and soft with no
greying or deterioration over time. Advanced formulation helps
to reduce rewashes, linen replacement and machine occupancy for
better overall results and productivity.
Innovations that solve problems
CLAX and Horizon Bright
One recent Diversey innovation is the CLAX Bright and Horizon
Bright destainer that offers excellent laundry performance at
lower temperatures for reduced energy use, faster cycle times
and improved productivity. The active ingredient also offers
excellent infection control properties which makes Bright an
ideal choice for on-premises laundries in hotels and other
venues where there is a high turnover of guests.
At the right dosage Bright is highly effective at killing MRSA
and other bacteria at 40oC. It even kills the notoriously
difficult Clostridium Difficile spores at 60oC. It has been
tested to EN1276 and EN13704 European standards. Killing
pathogenic organisms during the wash reduces the risk of
cross-contamination.
Greater economy is achieved by washing fabrics with Bright in
standard appliances at low temperature settings. Washing with
Bright at 40oC can save up to 35 per cent of overall energy
costs compared with the traditional high temperature processes
previously required to remove stubborn stains and eliminate
dangerous infective agents. It can also result in water savings
of up to 25 percent through fewer rewashes and less evaporation
during heating. Labour savings of up to 10 percent can also be
achieved by shorter wash cycles and fewer rewashes. The result
is a reduction in overall rewash costs of up to 20 per cent.
The active ingredients of Bright are effective and powerful but
gentle enough for all types of fabric which means it can be used
on a wide range of bedding, clothing and linen. In addition to
its low temperature capabilities it has been developed for
optimum performance at a relatively low pH, between 9 and 10.
This combination of low pH, low temperature and gentle active
ingredients helps to extend the life of fabrics by up to 50 per
cent and ensures that they maintain their look and feel for
longer than with traditional detergents. This reduces the
overall cost of fabric ownership because replacements are
required less frequently.
CLAX Durasoft
Clax Durasoft another Diversey innovation that incorporates a
unique patented fragrance technology that keeps fabrics smelling
fresher for longer and is reactivated when items such as towels,
robes and bedclothes are used after storage. Hotels and other
hospitality venues can now create a better overall impression
for their guests by ensuring their fabrics are always soft,
fresh and ready to use.
Fabrics such as towels, bath robes and bedclothes play a
critical role in overall customer satisfaction and can enhance
perceptions of the business. Research commissioned by Diversey
shows that guests make instant judgments about their rooms based
on factors such as appearance and fragrance. Cleaner, softer
fabrics that smell fresher will help guests feel pampered and
satisfied for a better overall experience.
The patented ingredient in Clax Durasoft infuses into fabrics to
provide a longer lasting and fresher fragrance even when items
such as towels and bedclothes are stored for extended periods.
The fragrance is reactivated in humid conditions which means
items such as towels and robes will give off a renewed fresh
smell when they become wet as they are used.
Fabrics that have been dried at high temperatures or for long
periods often smell as if they have been scorched. Clax Durasoft
eliminates this risk because it is formulated to withstand heavy
drying cycles and leave fabrics smelling great every time. It
also reduces static and creasing which makes it easier to remove
items from dryers and to iron and fold them.
CLAX Revoflow
Diversey’s latest ground breaking innovation is CLAX Revoflow,
the first intelligent powder dosing system. This system, unlike
any other powder system is capable of dosing multiple products
to multiple machines. Powder formulations can be highly
concentrated due to the lack of liquid they hold, and for the
first time, these benefits are available in an auto dose format.
The products are packaged in condensed formats weighing 3.5 or
4kg making them much easier to handle, and yet the products are
so concentrated, one bottle of fabric softener can last up to 3
months
Protecting Our Customers and Our Environment.
Like many products in the Diversey portfolio, Clax Bright,
Horizon Bright , Clax Durasoft and the 4 products available in
the Revoflow format are all supplied as concentrates. They are
all used with the company’s automated controlled dosing systems.
This means the results are always consistent and cost effective
but also our systems are safe and environmentally conscious.
The autodose systems minimise the contact staff have with the
chemicals, and prevent spillages and slip risks whilst also
reducing waste.
The concentrated formulas reduce chemical miles, per cleaning
cycle, because no water is transported but is instead added at
the point of use. Concentrates also use smaller packs compared
with ready to use products which means that overall they require
less storage space and utilise less packaging material. A range
of pack sizes is available to provide users with flexibility and
choice.
The Diversey Way
Diversey supports its laundry products with a range of training
packages that are designed to ensure customers get the best
possible return on their investment with improved productivity,
performance, economy and safety. Training covers all aspects of
laundry and fabric care and can be tailored to a customer’s
specific requirements.
The company also provides special management information systems
that help customers to control costs by verifying, assessing,
customising and optimising laundry operations. A team of
technical experts is available to lend additional hands-on
support and advice. This includes helping customers to identify
potential improvements from pre wash through to drying and
finishing and ways to save energy and deliver the best possible
finish to fabrics and textiles. Few if any other cleaning
products supplier has the resources and expertise at its
disposal to offer this level of service.
